It’s so important that we take time to stop, slow down and rest. When we are moving too fast, we can’t hear God’s voice clearly.

  • I’ve gotten more intentional about taking my own advice (ha!) and powering down at least an hour before bed. I turn my phone on do not disturb, plug it in, and don’t touch it again until I check my alarm for the morning. And even then, I don’t look at the notifications until morning. Chances are, it’s nothing I need to know about right before bed, and chances are it could be something that gets me stirred up and makes it difficult for to me to fall asleep.

    I’ve recently started using Slack for my mastermind members to communicate throughout the week. Right now I’m getting notifications every time someone posts. Slack has the option to customize exactly what notifications you get and when. This video reminded me I need to do that! I’m sure it’s going to make a huge difference in keeping me from distraction during the day.
